A challenge is proposed to any registered attendee. The data and the objectives are described in IASIM_2016_Challenge.pdf.
The aim is the detection of melamine particles in wheat gluten from NIR Reflectance images. Six images are available: 3 of known composition (for model “calibration”) and 3 unknown test images for “prediction”.

Results should be sent to Neal Gallagher (nealg(at)eigenvector.com) before June 1, 2016.
Solutions will be evaluated on accuracy, creativity, etc. by a jury.
A special session will be dedicated to the presentation of the three best contributions.
The winner(s) will be awarded a prize.
